2026 and 2027 Tree Removal Contract
Improvement Project No. 26-30
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at Blaine City Hall, 10801 Town Square Drive NE, Blaine, MN 55449 or electronically on QuestCDN.com until 3:00 PM April 30, 2026, then opened and posted online at QuestCDN.com by representatives of the City Council of Blaine, Anoka County, Minnesota for furnishing of all work and materials for consideration of 2026 and 2027 Tree Removal Contract, City Improvement No. 26-30.
The Contract will be for a term of two years for the removal of ash trees and other trees designated by City Staff within various public rights-of-way, parks, and other City-owned property and consisting of approximately (two-years total):

500 Trees 12 - 24 Inch Diameter
160 Trees 24 - 36 Inch Diameter
10 Trees 36+ Inch Diameter
(Including all related work and appurtenances.)
Work generally includes, but is not limited to, tree removal, stump grinding, debris removal and disposal, restoration of disturbed areas, traffic control, and coordination with property owners as necessary.

Contract Documents incorporating the work for the project may be examined online at QuestCDN.com. PAPER COPIES may be obtained from the City Foresters office for $5. Documents may be downloaded as portable document format (PDF) files for a nonrefundable fee of $25.00. ELECTRONIC COPIES may be obtained at QuestCDN.com (eBiDoc #10145762). This Project will be conducting a Virtual Bid Letting but Sealed Paper Bids will also be accepted. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the website

. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources.
Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no bid will be considered unless electronically filed on QuestCDN or submitted to Owner’s Office. No bid bond is required for this contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days from date of opening of bids.
The City Council will consider award of contracts at their regular meeting held on May 18, 2026, at 7:00PM in the Council Chambers at 10801 Town Square Drive NE, Blaine, Minnesota. It is the City’s intention for the work to begin after award and all work be completed by December 31, 2027.
