GIMC - Notice of Intent to Single-Source - Michele's Ready Mix, Rock & Recycle, Inc.

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Michele’s Ready Mix, Rock & Recycle, Inc. to provide various supplies and materials such as concrete, sand, gravel, paving stone, etc. as required by the GIMC Facility Management Department.

The period of performance will be from April 14, 2025, to April 13, 2026, with four (4) one-year (1) option periods.

The requirement will be placed under the SBA HUBZone program in accordance with FAR 19.1306 – HUBZone sole-source awards. Michele’s Ready Mix, Rock & Recycle, Inc., is a HUBZone firm deemed eligible for award. The procurement will be solicited from a single source in the open market using the principles of FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items. The award will also satisfy the HUBZone Small Business goals of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents concerning any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

Any potential sources other than Michele’s Ready Mix, Rock & Recycle, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Stephen Silversmith, Contract Specialist, by 10:00 A.M. MT on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
