The integral feature allows water to flow for a predetermined time from 0 to 90 seconds and automatically shut off. If, at any time in the predetermined time cycle, an alarm occurs, the RAM and any corresponding LAMs will actuate solenoids to provide deluge coverage. The RAM provides the required high speed, high voltage pulse to achieve the required system reaction speed. The RAM has a key switch to individually inhibit each zone if desired. The RAM has the required internal circuitry to provide automatic reset. The RAM has an integral test jack for system reaction time tests.        Required LAMs (Low cost Acceleration Module) The LAM is a slave module to the RAM. The LAM supervises solenoid circuitry for short, open and ground faults. It controls up to four solenoids. The LAM provides the required high speed, high voltage pulse to achieve the required system reaction speed.
