NL Separate sealed Bids for EAST 96TH STREET NORTH & NORTH 145TH EAST AVENUE

O INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, and all appurtenances thereto, will be received by the

City of Owasso at Public Works, 10102 E 116 St N, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055, (918) 272-4959

until 2:30pm on May 21, 2026, and then at said Public Works publicly opened and read aloud. A

S MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held in the Main Conference Room at Public Works,

E at 2:30pm on May 14, 2026. A failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference will disqualify

the bidder from bidding on this project.

S The work is generally described as follows:

PO The intersection widening & resurfacing of E. 96th Street N. & N. 145th E Avenue with turn lanes

R and bike lanes. Included in the project is a new traffic signal at the intersection, installation of

PU storm sewers and water lines.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a PROPOSAL GUARANTY payable to the CITY OF

G OWASSO for Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have

been compared, the CITY OF OWASSO will return the GUARANTY to all except the three

IN lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the GUARANTY of the two

remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The GUARANTY of the successful

BIDDER will not be returned until the PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE AND

W STATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS have been executed and approved, after which it will be

returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a PROPOSAL GUARANTY.

VIE PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE AND STATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS in the

amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the

CITY OF OWASSO, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.

R Attorneys-in-Fact who sign BID, PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE AND

OSTATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS must file with each Bond a certified and effective dated

Fcopy of their power of attorney.

IMPORTANT: SURETY COMPANIES EXECUTING BONDS MUST APPEAR ON THE

TREASURY DEPARTMENT'S MOST CURRENT LIST AND BE AUTHORIZED TO

TRANSACT BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA.

All BIDS must be made on the required BID form. ALL blank spaces for BID prices must be

filled in, in ink or typewritten, and BID form must be fully completed and executed when

submitted. BIDS carrying riders, alterations of construction time or qualifications which modify

the amount of the BID as submitted can be rejected as irregular. BIDDER must fill out the BID

form and other required documents for the bid opening.

Y The CITY OF OWASSO may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all

L BIDS. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS

N or authorized postponement thereof. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall

not be considered. No BIDDER may withdraw a BID within thirty (30) calendar days following

O the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be

awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the

CITY OF OWASSO and the BIDDER.

ES BIDDERS shall submit a completed "Statement of Bidder's Qualification", Section 00230, at the

time of the BID submittal. All forms are included. BIDDERS are required to submit all

S subsections of Section 00200 (See Section 00110: Requirements for Bidders) at the time of

opening.

U to 5:30 pm, Fri. 7:30 am -11:30 am) in order to submit bidder information to gain access to the

P bid documents. Hard copies of the Contract Documents may be purchased at Owasso City Hall

upon payment of Fifty-Five Dollars ($55.00) for each set, which is the cost of reproduction and

will not be refunded.
