NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen for a term contract for the removal and
safety pruning of trees located in the Beulah Cemetery. This contract is for the removal of trees that are
identified by a white paint blaze or orange ribbon which are to be cut and removed from the cemetery.
The complete Invitation for Bid document, including detailed specifications and bidding requirements, is
on file and available at the City of Vicksburg-City Clerk’s Office located at 1401 Walnut Street,
Vicksburg, Mississippi 39180 or can be downloaded from Central Bidding. For any questions

Sealed bids will be received by the Mayor and Aldermen of The City of Vicksburg, Mississippi,
until 9:00 a.m., local time, Monday, December 15, 2025, at the City Clerk’s Office.
Bidders are cautioned that the City Clerk does not receive the daily U.S. Mail on or before
9:00 a.m. Bids will be time-stamped upon receipt according to the City Clerk’s time clock.
Public Bid Opening: All bids will be publicly opened and read on Monday, December 15, 2025, at
10:00 a.m. CDT in the City of Vicksburg Robert M. Walker Annex Boardroom located at 1415 Walnut
Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Bids can be hand delivered to the City of Vicksburg-City Clerk’s Office located on the second floor
of City Hall (1401 Walnut Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39180) or mailed to the City Clerk’s Office at
Post Office Box 150, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39182 or submitted via Central Bidding. Bids received after
the specified date and time will not be considered.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SEALED BID: BEULAH TREE
REMOVAL AND SAFETY PRUNING" on the outside of the envelope. The envelope should also be
marked with the bid opening date and time along with contractor name and address.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any
informalities.
