Miami County is seeking price proposals from firms qualified to provide construction engineering (inspection) services for the 287 th Street Reconstruction Project and the 2026 Asphalt Corrective Maintenance Program. Firms are requested to provide a price proposal and agreement for the total amount of hours required for these projects. One firm will be selected to perform construction engineering services for the projects described below:
Project 21-08-ST (683) 287 th Street Reconstruction to include the following work: Reconstruction of 287 th Street from the intersection of Osawatomie Road east along 287 th Street to the edge of the wearing surface for the bridge, and reconstruction of Osawatomie Road north and south of the intersection.
This project is funded by Sales Tax, and the contract time is set for 90 calendar days.
Project 26-01-CO (670) 2026 Asphalt Corrective Maintenance Program to include mill and overlays at the following locations:
287 th Street from Hedge Lane west to Pressonville Road; Pressonville Road from 287 th Street north to K-68 Hwy; Osawatomie Road from 287 th Street north to K-68 Hwy; Hedge Lane Road from 287 th Street north to K-68 Hwy.
The bid will also consist of two bid alternates:
Bid Alternate 1 : Mill and overlay with full-depth patch on Lone Star Road from 303 rd Street north to K-68 Hwy.
Bid Alternate 2: Mill and overlay with full-depth patch at the following locations: Harmony Road from 255 th Street north to Tontzville Road; Tontzville Road northwest to Lone Star Road; Reestablish appropriate road approaches to the bridge over Hillsdale Lake located on Tontzville Road.
This project is funded by Miami County Road and Bridge Funds, and the contract time is 120 working days.
