The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Atlas Devices LLC., 21 Alpha Rd, Suite 202, Chelmsford, Massachusetts 01824-4170.
The purpose of this acquisition is for preventative and corrective maintenance on six (6) Atlas Devices auto-ascenders for the FBI. The FBI has prepared a Sole Source justification on a basis of other than full and open competition for the acquisition of the Atlas Devices maintenance needed. A copy of this sole source justification is available upon request.
Atlas Devices is the sole manufacturer of these devices and does not authorize any other vendor to perform this maintenance. These life safety devices are used for moving personnel and equipment in high-angle and maritime environments.
The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
This notice will be distributed solely through Sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring Sam.gov to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code for this requirement is 332999 All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing.
