THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, 5441 Babcock Road, Ste. 302, San Antonio intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a single, firm fixed price contract for Construction Services. The solicitation will be issued on SAM.gov on or about October 14, 2025, and will include the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications. There will be a pre-bid site visit; information and specifics to follow with the solicitation.

Project Details: Contractor to provide a new 200 KW electrical generator and prepare site to include demolition, removal of existing structures, excavation, grading, labor and materials and all other work to install an electrical generator and associated components at the Fisher House for Audie L. Murphy Hospital, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, Texas, 78229 as required by drawings and specifications. The Fisher House is located at 7485 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78229.

Period of Performance: 560 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued

Magnitude of Construction: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000
