ealed bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Village Hall located at 350
Vi
ctory Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466 until Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Repla
cement of existing twin 36-inch culverts at the driveway of 23 Thorn Creek Drive with a box culvert, driveway replacement, ditch restoration, and miscellaneous items of work.

Bi
dding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website upon a non-refundable payment of $45 per set. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

nstructions to Bidders.
No
t less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract.
Th
e Village of Park Forest is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes.
Al
l Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Park Forest for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidding Documents.

ejection of Bids
Th
e Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to

he lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
