Construction Engineering & Inspection Services for the Morgan Creek Greenway Phase 1 Project

Request for Letters of Interest (RFLOI) by The Town of Carrboro to engage qualified firms to provide Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Services for the Morgan Creek Greenway Phase 1 Project TIP # EL-4828A

Letters of Interest will be received by the Town of Carrboro, 301 West Main Street, Carrboro, North Carolina 27510, until 3:00pm January 2, 2026.  The desired services include CEI services and construction administration for the Morgan Creek Greenway Phase 1 construction project.

The Morgan Creek Greenway Phase 1 project consists of the construction of approximately 1723 liner feet of pedestrian greenway adjacent to Morgan Creek, as well as the construction of two pedestrian bridges of approximately 100 and 55 feet in width across Morgan Creek. The project includes but is not limited to clearing, grading, paving, fencing, drainage, landscaping, and erosion control.

The primary and/or subconsultant firm(s) shall be pre-qualified by NCDOT to perform all tasks necessary for construction engineering and inspection services for a federally funded, NCDOT-administered multi-use path construction project (hereinafter called the “desired services”).  Firms shall be pre-qualified for the following work codes:

• 00233—Structures Construction, Engineering and Inspection
• 000195—Roadway Construction, Engineering and Inspection

CONTRACT SCOPE SUMMARY

Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) and construction contract administration services for the Morgan Creek Greenway Phase 1 project. This project consists of the construction of approxomately 1723 liner feet of pedestrian greenway adjacent to Morgan Creek, as well as the construction of two pedestrian bridges of approximately 100 and 55 feet in length across Morgan Creek. The project will include two retaining walls and constructed stream buffers.

Electronic LOIs should be submitted in .pdf format using software such as Adobe, CutePDF, PDF Writer, Docudesk, deskPDF, etc.
