Here is the timeline for RFP-related activities (the University reserves the right to adjust this timeline, if needed):

1.  Intent to Bid (By Tuesday, September 10, 2025 at 2:00PM CST) - We are asking suppliers to advise us, via the MBid tool, of their intent to bid (intent to submit a proposal in response to this RFP), so that the project team can gauge what the expected response may be .

Please note, if you inadvertently miss this "intent to bid" deadline, you may still submit a proposal by the October 10, 2025 due date for proposals.

Similarly, if you indicate an intent to bid, but you later decide not to submit a proposal, that is okay too.

Again, we are using the "intent to bid" activity as a way to gauge the approximate degree of supplier interest in the RFP.

2.  Due Date for Clarification Questions From Suppliers (Friday, September 12th, 2025 at 2:00PM CST) - All RFP-related clarification questions are due from suppliers, via MBid, by this due date .  The project team will promptly review all questions, and then develop corresponding answers.  The full Q&A (all questions received, plus all answers; minus the names of suppliers) will be published shortly thereafter, via publishing an RFP addendum in MBid.

3.  Proposal Due Date (Thursday, October 10, 2025 at 2:00PM CST) - All proposals in response to this RFP are due from suppliers, via MBid, by this due date.  Please start inputting your proposals into MBid well in advance , so that you don't run into any issues and miss the deadline, because this is a "hard stop," meaning that the MBid system won't allow for the late submission of proposals.

4.  Interviews of Supplier Finalists (Week of November 3, 2025) - Selected finalists will visit the University of Minnesota (at a location to be determined and communicated) for an interview and presentation session.

5.  Final Decisions / Supplier Selection (Friday, November 28, 2025) - The University hopes to select a winning supplier by Friday, November 28, 2025 or sooner.  An award would be contingent upon successful contract negotiations.
