NASA/ARC has a requirement for ground-based aerospace testing and facilities operations and maintenance in support of many experiments and projects such as the Sensor and Thermal Protection System Advanced Research (STAR) Lab, Orion Multi-purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), and Artemis.
NASA/ARC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the aerospace testing and facilities operations and maintenance services from Amentum Technology, LLC., under FAR 6.302-1 for an additional 24-month period of performance (POP), or two 1-year option periods, added to the current contract 80ARC022DA001, Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance-5 (ATOM-5). The current contract is an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery contract with a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee Contract Management core and IDIQ task orders with a five-year ordering period. The additional 24-month POP will be an extension to the current ordering period for a total of seven years.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jeanne Chun, Contracting Officer, at jeanne.s.chun@nasa.gov not later than 3:00 PM Pacific time on April 22, 2025. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at : https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf
