The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the comprehensive fire system maintenance and monitoring services located at:
¿ San Diego FMS 17 National Guard Vehicle Maintenance Shop ¿ 3171 Armstrong St., San
Diego, CA 92111
¿ San Bernardino Reserve Center ¿ 296 E. 3rd St., San Bernardino, CA 92410
¿ National City National Guard Readiness Center ¿ 303 Palm Ave., National City, CA 91950
¿ Escondido National Guard Readiness Center ¿ 304 E. Park Ave., Escondido, CA 92025
Work to include: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the monitoring, quarterly tests, semi-annual services, and annual services of the fire detection and suppression system located at various locations in Southern California. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 33108 - DO NOT OPEN.
A job walk is optional, but not mandatory. Nothing contained in these specifications shall relieve the contractor from the responsibility of visiting the sites, accurately measuring the work or otherwise ensuring that the quantities used in preparing his bid are the actual quantities of the work to be accomplished under the contract. By submitting a bid, the contractor confirms that he has visited the aforementioned sites and verifies that the quantities used in preparing his bid are the actual quantities of the work to be accomplished. No site visits will be allowed after 4:00 PM on 10/29/2024.
The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-10 Electrical Contractor license, or subcontract to one.
All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Contract Manager Charles Aguilar at Charles.Aguilar@cmd.ca.gov and the Alternate Contract Manager SGT Zoe Franco at Zoe.Franco@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 10/29/2024. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 33108.
If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 11/12/2024 at 2:00 PM.
