The City of Plano is soliciting bids for the r
elocation of existing overhead utilities to underground conduit and/or duct banks along 14th Street from east of I Avenue to Municipal Avenue, then north along Municipal Avenue to 16th Street.
Installation of 15,600 LF of 4” conduit; 7,800 LF of 6” conduit; 700 LF of 2” conduit; 3 each Vista switchgear; 3 each PMH switchgear; 4 each padmount transformers; and replacement of three cobra head lights with standard acorn style streetlights.
This project is estimated at $1,711,710.00

The preferred method for proposal submission is electronically through IonWave. If you choose to submit your bid/proposal in person, Procurement personnel will be available Mondays and Wednesdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The person delivering the bid/proposal must call (972) 941-7557 upon arrival during those hours and wait in the lobby for someone to meet them to receive their bid/proposal. Responses delivered in person are to be delivered in a sealed envelope to the Procurement Division at:

Time Critical Bid/Proposal Deliveries: The City of Plano cannot guarantee, due to internal procedures, that any bids/proposals sent via US mail will be picked up and delivered by the closing date and time. It is recommended that critical bid/proposal deliveries be made either electronically through IonWave or in person as described above.
