MassWildlife is soliciting written quotes from Contractors to conduct important habitat restoration work during Fiscal Year 2025 on 76 acres at the Montague Plains WMA in Montague, MA. Treatments to be conducted include re-mowing and mulching of tree stump sprouts in previously thinned woodland and establishment of fire breaks. Sprouts must be cut to no lower than 12 inches from the ground and no higher than 18 inches from the ground. All work must be completed no later than May 20, 2025.
