Solicitation Document Description: the Non-exclusive Supply and Delivery of Phosphoric Acid for the City of Toronto’s Water Division
Specific Conditions for Procurement: 1.        Specification and Product Concentration
The Supplier must upload a copy of the specification of the phosphoric acid to be supplied indicating the concentration strength of the phosphoric acid in the product. Any specifications listed must be in compliance with the requirements indicated in Part 3 – Specifications and Requirements, 1.2.4.

2.        ANSI/NSF 60 Certificate
The Supplier must upload a copy of the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Certificate for the phosphoric acid being offered.

3.        Certificate of Analysis

The Supplier must upload a copy of a Certificate of Analysis (C of A) for the phosphoric acid to be supplied under this Contract that includes, at a minimum, the following parameters: concentration of phosphoric acid ( wt.), relative density at a specified temperature, lead (mg/kg or wt.), cadmium (mg/kg or wt.), fluoride (mg/kg or wt.), arsenic (mg/kg or wt.), chloride (mg/kg or wt.), iron (mg/kg or wt.), sulphate (mg/kg or wt.), and colour (APHA). This certificate must confirm that the phosphoric acid is in compliance with the requirements specified in Part 3 – Section 1.2 for these parameters. The Certificate of Analysis must be from a third-party accredited laboratory performed within past fourteen (14) months.

4.        Proof of an Established Quality Management System
The Supplier must upload proof of a third-party accredited Quality Management System currently in place for the Successful Supplier’s business operations, such as ISO 9001, that ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
