Notice of Sources Sought

The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services requested, as well as any large businesses. The results from this source sought notice will be used to determine the appropriate set-aside.

The intended contract is a firm-fixed price service contract.

The SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule is not applicable as the intended contract is for services.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for a blanket purchase order (Base + 4 Option Years) for registration services for the Center of Innovation for Veteran-Centered and Value Driven Care (COIN) AcademyHealth Annual Research meeting and the Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health. See Statement of Work below.

Required Information in Your Response to Sources Sought:
In order to be considered a valid source that can impact the set-aside determination of a possible future solicitation, potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to Amy.Kuczjda@va.gov by below response deadline:

1) Company name, address, and point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and UEI.

2) Please identify your company s size in comparison to the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 813920 Professional Organizations. To be considered a small business your company must have less than 750 employees. This notice is to determine the marketplace for this specific requirement. Please check one of the following:

References for similar services currently being provided or previously provided at the required service levels as outlined in the Statement of Work.

The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.

PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Center of Innovation for Veteran-Centered and Value Driven Care (COIN) research and operations projects, as part of their deliverables are responsible for disseminating important findings and information from HSR s health systems research, innovation, improvement and implementation to VA policy makers, managers, clinicians and researchers, as well as the larger national health care community, with the goal of improving the access, cost, quality, and outcomes of healthcare to our Veterans and the nation. Seattle COIN utilizes AcademyHealth conferences to expand the reach, visibility, and translation of research findings into clinical practice.

Due to recent changes to the conference registration policy, the Seattle COIN is seeking a contract to provide conference registrations on as needed based to the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting and the Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health.
A. GENERAL INFORMATION
Title of Project: Registrations for the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting and the Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health.

Scope of Work:
Vendor shall provide registrations for the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting.

Vendor shall provide registrations for the AcademyHealth Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health.

Period of Performance:
Base year with 4 option years
Registrations will be ordered via a task order as needed. A registration form for each registrant will be submitted to AcademyHealth as soon as a task order is issued.

6500.6 form: C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
