The Department of Public Works for the City of Quincy, Massachusetts, invites bidders to submit sealed bids for FY25 SEWER AND DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS. The work under this contract, which includes but is not limited to replace or rehabilitate existing aging sewers and drain infrastructure throughout various locations in the City of Quincy. This Contract consists of several activities and improvements that will remedy known inflow and infiltration (I/I) sources as well as structurally deficient infrastructure. All work to be performed will be consistent with the requirements of CWSRF #16753. Additional Information: The construction contract includes the installation of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liners, the replacement of existing structurally deficient sewer with new sewer, installation of standard doghouse manholes, installation of cementitious manhole liners, the replacement of deficient manhole frames and covers, and raising manhole frames and covers of existing grades as necessary. In the Contract, there is approximately 10.5 miles of sewer gravity main rehabilitation and 0.5 miles of storm gravity main rehabilitation.
