The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This follow-on effort is for a 5.5-year (Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), Cost- Reimbursable-No Fee (CR-NF), and Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) – (D) type contract to provide sustainment support for the C-5 fleet. This contract will consist of Contractor Logistics Support of the C-5 aircraft including Supply Chain Management (SCM) of C-5M parts, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Repair, Peculiar Support Equipment Repair, Procurement, Functional Check Flight Services, Engineering Investigative/ Technical Support (EITS), and Field Service Representatives (FSRs).
This requirement will consist of one basic ordering period of 12 months and 4 annual ordering periods. In addition, there will be a 6-month option to extend services at the order level.
FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 15 will be utilized.
The Government has determined that this effort will be a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LMA), Cage Code: 98897, IAW FAR 6.302-1 – Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
Foreign Participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level.
Government furnished drawings, specifications, and special tooling are not available.
