The purpose of this procurement is to contract with qualified vendors to provide medically complex care consultation programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) Early Intervention (EI) Division, to increase the capacity of systems of care that are coordinated, comprehensive, culturally competent, and family-centered for infants and toddlers ages birth to 3 years with special health care needs. The medically complex care consultation (MC3) program provides clinical consultation, training, and technical assistance to early intervention service (EIS) programs, providers, and families to improve results and outcomes for children and families enrolled in early intervention in Massachusetts with medically complex care needs. The DPH anticipates awarding at least one discrete program in each DPH geographic region in the state. Annual funding for each program will be approximately $162,200, which includes approximately $72,200 for family support funds. Applicants may bid to provide services in single or multiple regions. A separate application is required for each region. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to serve the entire region for which they are bidding and have experience working with children with complex medical needs.
