Solicitation Summary
MDTA has developed a comprehensive plan to install up to 16 structures to provide protection to the piers closest to the main navigation spans that accommodate inbound and outbound vessel traffic. The initial Project scope includes the installation of structures to protect the four towers supporting the main spans of the Eastbound and Westbound Bay Bridges. The project development utilizes the design-build contracting method and the “Competitive Sealed Proposals” procurement method. The Project may result in having a scope in the final design containing a different number of protection structures based on the proposals received.
