Runway 12-30 Rehabilitation

Commissioners, Attn: Clerk’s Office, 108 North Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida 32347 (850-838-3506) until
4 pm local time on Friday, August 15, 2025 , for the Runway 12-30 Rehabilitation project at the Perry
Foley Airport, Perry, Fl. Bids must be submitted in a sealed enveloped clearly marked “BID ENCLOSED:
RUNWAY 12-30 REHABILITATION; PERRY FOLEY AIRPORT.” Bids will be opened at the Taylor
County Board of County Commissioners meeting to be held at the Taylor County Administration Complex,
201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 6:05 pm or as soon thereafter as
possible. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of
construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described
in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:
Asphalt removal, base course, asphalt paving, pavement markings, airfield lighting
improvements.

The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right, it its sole and absolute discretion, to
reject, to cancel, or withdraw this bid at any time and waive any irregularities in the bid process. The County
reserves the right to award any contract to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service;
therefore, the County is not bound to award any contract based on the lowest quoted price. The County, in its
sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive any minor defects in the process and to
accept the bid deemed to be in the County’s best interest. No faxed Proposals will be accepted.
