Transmission is used on the The All Terrain Crane (ATC), Type II Heavy. The ATC, Type II (HVY) will be used by Engineer organizations to support overhead lift, container operations, pile driving, protective barrier placement, port opening/operation capabilities, and other construction tasks as well as handling repair parts, supplies and equipment. The ATC, Type II (HVY) (LIN A05074)is a self-deployable crane with the following functional capabilities: a lift capacity of 100,000 pounds; lifting and placing loads on M870 trailers; is capable of accepting an add-on armor kit; averaging speeds of at least 40 MPH on both primary and secondary roads, and speeds of 15 MPH cross country. Also, this is the only system capable of lifting and placing the T-Wall barriers.
