1.0 Introduction

DLA Land - Warren is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of supplying the Engine Oil Pump Assembly for the M88 Ground Combat Vehicle. This is NOT a formal solicitation notice. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.

3.0 Statement of Need

The Engine Oil Pump Assembly is a critical component for the M88 Ground Combat Vehicle. This item is NOT A COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE ITEM and requires specialized manufacturing capabilities.

4.0 Quality and Testing Requirements

• Standards: MIL-STD-1916 applies.


• Quality Management System (QMS): Higher Level Contract Quality System requirement. Suppliers must possess a QMS certified to ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent.


• First Article Testing (FAT): FAT will be required. FAT report due within 120 days of contract award. FAT shall be conducted per the requirements outlined in TDP 12468945, and shall include 100% inspection as defined in applicable Quality Assurance Provisions (QAPs).
