Commodity or Service Required:

Purchase of Purchase of Neighborly Software License

Description:

Lee County Procurement seeks to execute a single source for the continuation of the software licenses for Neighborly grant management software by Benevate, LLC. This software is used to manage the application, eligibility review, and payment of multiple grant programs countywide.

Intended single Source:

Benevate, LLC

Justification for Single Source Acquisition:
Benevate, LLC is the sole developer of Neighborly Software and the only company that can provide the continued implementation and maintenance of the software and related services. The County currently needs to maintain active licenses to retain access to records and reporting associated with the grant programs that have been created for the Human and Veteran Services and Community Development Departments. Benevate, LLC works with the County to customize its solutions to provide a positive end-user experience for our customers and ensure compliance with grant reporting. The customized solutions also allow for streamlined reporting and project tracking.

Recommended Procurement Approach:

For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the single Source Procurement method to purchase from Benevate, LLC. to supply the above.
