NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BID INVITATION NO. 4499
Sealed Bids to the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission (“Commission”), for Furnishing
its requirements for Armored Car Coin & Currency Services, will be received through the
Commission’s website at https://www.ohioturnpike.org/business/doing-business-with-us/bid-
invitations, until 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Time), May 13, 2026.
Bids or any part thereof not submitted through the Commission’s website will not be
considered. At said hour all Bids will be publicly opened and read via Microsoft Teams. A
Microsoft Teams Link is provided on the cover page of this Bid Invitation.
The General Terms and Conditions, Specifications, Special Provisions, Bid Form, Affidavit and
Contract (if applicable) are on file and available to any interested person requesting a copy via
email at purchasing@ohioturnpike.org. These documents will be forwarded, upon request and
without charge, to any prospective Bidder.
The Small Business Enterprise Goal (including SBE, DBE and EDGE) is waived.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Combination Ten Percent (10%) Bid Guaranty and
Fifty Percent (50%) Performance Bond applicable to the total Contract value, or a certified
check, cashier’s check or letter of credit on a solvent bank, payable to the order of the Ohio
Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%)
of the total amount bid. These Bid Guaranty requirements are in conformance with the Ohio
Revised Code Section 5537.07. (See Instructions to Bidders (Part 2), Sections C and E for
submittal of Bid Guaranty).
ORC 5537.07(D) requires a bid/performance bond for expenditures over 500k. Any bidder
submitting a bid over $500,000 must provide the combination bid/performance bond provided in
Part 14 of this Bid Invitation.
Each Bid must be on the form prescribed by the Commission and must comply with the terms and
conditions set forth in all of the documents provided with this Bid Invitation.
The award of the Contract, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible
Bidder therefor whose Bid complies with all the prescribed requirements. The Commission
reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor technicalities or minor irregularities.
