Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to: (1) determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exists, (2) determine if commercial items/services suitable to meet the agency's needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency's requirements, and (3) determine the commercial practices of company's engaged in providing the needed service or supply. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action.



The USCG anticipates awarding a contract for the procurement of two (2) Inflatable Shaft Seal Assemblies for the USCGC HEALY (WAGB-420) Propulsion Shaft.



REQUIREMENT: This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance Procedure Card Development and Drafting Support for Long Range Enforcer (LRE) Product Line, located in Seattle, WA to identify sources capable of providing the following:



SCOPE OF WORK: U.S. Coast Guard Surface Logistics Center has a requirement for qualified sources to supply two (2) Inflatable Shaft Seal Assemblies in support of the Main Propulsion Shaft for the USCGC HEALY (WAGB-420).



ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is anticipated to be: FY25 (04/01/2025-01/01/2026)



ANTICIPATED PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), USCGC HEALY (WAGB-420), 1519 Alaskan Way South, Seattle, WA 98134



ANTICIPATED NAICS CODE/SIDE STANDARD: The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 339991- Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing. The Business Size Standard is 600 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) that applies to this notice is 5330 - Packing and Gasket Materials.



SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: Companies having capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought notice including commercial market information and company information.
