Tree ring scanner

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a tree ring scanner from Quintek Measurement Systems as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. The scanner must measure density in 25 micron increments and contractor must provide all required software to complete the extraction of ring (and within-ring) information from the raw data along with extensive customer support. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
