NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids will be received for the Contract PAINTING OF OFFICES FOR DUPAGE COUNTY CARE CENTER 26-089-DCC on or before October 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Solicitation documents, including specifications, may be obtained by email at henry.kocker@dupagecounty.gov or at www.DemandStar.com . All Bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.

STATEMENT OF WORK

DuPage County (“County”) Care Center is seeking bidders to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform interior surface preparation and painting of five (5) offices located at 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL. The total paintable surface area is approximately 1,395 square feet (sq. ft.).

Product Requirements

To maintain standards and consistency throughout the facility, the County has standardized its color scheme. No product substitutions shall be accepted.

Manufacturer – Sherwin-Williams
Color – Canvas Tan (SW 7531)
Finish – Eggshell

The work shall occur in an active healthcare environment and the awarded bidder is required to maintain strict adherence to dust control, scheduling, and patient privacy guidelines. Paint products shall be Low-Volatile Organic Compounds (“VOC”) or Zero-VOC to prevent chemical vapors and odors from impacting patients and staff.

The rooms are located on 3 ^rd Floor – South.

Furniture Handling

Bidders shall provide pricing option to remove existing office furniture from designated work areas prior to surface preparation and painting, and return/reinstall furniture to its original layout upon completion.
