Hallowell Street Reconstruction

Project Description: The Borough of Conshohocken is performing roadway rehabilitation along Hallowell Street between 7th Avenue and 11th Avenue. A portion of the funding for this project will be provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development (DCED) Multimodal Transportation (MTF) Grant Program. The project will consist of roadway resurfacing and the re-grading of the intersections of Hallowell Street, 8th Avenue, and 9th Avenue. The full scope of construction items includes roadway resurfacing and intersection drainage improvements along Hallowell Street, the removal of subsurface drainage pipes and their replacement with asphalt swales to convey water through the intersections, which will include the full depth reconstruction of the affected intersections. The project also includes construction of new ADA compliant curb ramps, concrete driveway aprons, pavement mill and overlay resurfacing, asphalt pavement base repairs, installation of new pavement markings, and incidental restorations.
