Summary
The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD), is seeking a qualified vendor to provide authorized Honda Power Equipment maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for City-owned Honda generators on an as-needed basis. Services shall be performed in accordance with Honda manufacturer specifications and recommended procedures.
This is an informal solicitation intended to establish a vendor for ongoing service needs throughout Fiscal Year 2027.
Background
The City owns and operates portable Honda generators used by various City departments to support daily operations and emergency response needs. Proper maintenance and timely repairs are necessary to ensure the generators remain safe, reliable, and available when needed.
The City requires an authorized Honda Power Equipment dealer or service provider with qualified technicians and access to Honda technical information, service procedures, specialized equipment, and OEM replacement parts. The resulting purchase order will provide the City with a reliable source for Honda generator maintenance, repairs, and parts as needs arise.
