Project Description: This project involves renovating the existing 219 East Main Street interior to be used as the new Borough Office. Work shall include, but is not limited to, demolition of existing components, interior concrete work and construction, exterior building improvements, new mechanical system, electrical distribution and lighting system as well as, plumbing infrastructure including underground plumbing and finishes.
Sealed bids will be received at Mechanicsburg Borough office, 36 West Allen Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 until 10 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 28th day of August 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read: All documents and solicitation details are available any time at PennBid™ (www.pennbid.net) by clicking on the “Solicitations” then “View” tabs.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids.
Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday August 12th, 2025 at the Borough office.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
