Soldier Effectiveness Directorate's (SED) Applied Ergonomics Branch is in need of a maintenance contract for their 3dMD 10Hz 3dMDhead9.t capture sys purchased September 17, 2020 with the base year maintenance agreement included. The current contract is set to expire in September 2025. A follow-on maintenance contract is needed to continue to ensure protection, proper care, and appropriate updating of this valuable piece of equipment that is used in many different capacities including next generation mobility & lethality technologies for Warfighters, Soldier Mobility and Lethality Design efforts.
The 3dMDhead9.t capture sys owned by SED's Applied Ergonomics Branch is an important piece of equipment being used in several high-profile research experiments and data captures. It must be maintained regularly and properly in order to function as designed and so that its proprietary hardware and software is kept up to date and free of bugs and other issues. Data collection for several projects will be jeopardized if the system, its software, or both are not maintained, serviced, and repaired on a timely basis. 3dMD is the supplier and is the only source of such support. ACC-APG Orlando Division anticipates awarding this contract to 3dMD LLC 3200 Cobb Galleria Pkwy #203, Atlanta, GA, 30339-5919, United States. This is not a request for quotes. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidences that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Inquiries and responses may be sent to M'Rika Caldwell, Contract Specialist, via email at mrika.r.caldwell.civ@army.mil no later than 18 SEP 2025 at 5PM EST.
