CASR anticipates awarding multiple contracts up to $6,000,000 in total.
Purpose

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional consultant to propose professional services to assume the existing implementation of Energize Denver compliance assistance services for EPBs 25,000 sq. ft. and larger and to develop a targeted assistance program for the electrification of EPBs 5,000-24,999 sq. ft for compliance purposes. CASR will own the identification of potential participants for recruitment and approve applications. Once the building is approved for services, CASR will turn them over to the Consultant for services.

The office’s mission is to act with urgency to proactively mitigate climate change by advancing science-based strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a scale and timeline that align with the recommendations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, cultivate resiliency in the face of potential climate change-related emergencies, secure an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable city for generations to come, and ensure that the setting of goals and metrics and monitoring of results considers equity.
