Project Description: The City of Tempe (City) is issuing this Request for Proposals to establish a contract for the purchase of a custom enclosed trailer to be used by the Tempe Police Department for the explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) squad. This RFP is necessary in order to allow for a replacement Tempe Police Department Bomb Squad response vehicle. The trailer will be used to deploy essential bomb squad equipment to explosive hazard calls. The trailer will act as a transport for the bomb squad’s large frame robot and as a work area while on scene.
