Sources Sought Notice





1.0 Introduction



DLA Land - Warren is conducting a Sources Sought/Request for Information to identify potential sources capable of supplying the Gun Simulator Assembly.



This is NOT a formal solicitation notice. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.



2.0 Item Description



Item Name: Gun Simulator Assembly



National Stock Number (NSN): 4910-01-271-1464



Part Number: 12335670 (Note: Part Number is being worked for an updated version. The new part number will be provided on the solicitation when posted to SAM.gov)



End Item: J4 - Simplified Test Equipment (STE), M1, M2 and M3



3.0 Special Requirements:



First Article Testing (FAT) and Report: Will be required. Additional information on this requirement will be provided when the solicitation is posted to SAM.gov



*A FAT Wavier is available upon request.



Quality Management System (QSM): Higher Level Contract Quality System requirement. Supplies must possess a QSM certified to ISO 9001:2015 or Equivalent



Standards: Use of MIL STD-1916 applies



4.0 Delivery Information

5.0 Information Requested



Interested companies capable of providing the Gun Simulator Assembly are requested to submit the following information:

  • Brief Capability Statement: Describe your company’s experience in manufacturing similar components for military applications.

  • Manufacturing Capabilities: Detail your company’s manufacturing capabilities related to this item (e.g., machining, casting, assembly).

  • Quality System Certification: Provide documentation demonstrating compliance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent.

  • Lead Time: Estimated lead time for delivery of the first article and subsequent production units.

  • Estimated Cost: Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for a quantity of (Qty) EA.

6.0 Submission Instructions
