Marin County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) seeks proposals to deliver free fall-prevention programs for County residents age 60 and older. The initial contract term is April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027, with the option to renew for one additional year. A total of $100,000 is allocated across two 12-month periods ($50,000 per year); awards may be split among multiple providers (e.g., $35k and $15k). Funded services should provide evidence-based or evidence-informed fall-prevention classes, workshops, and activities (e.g., strength/balance exercises, home-safety education) that reduce fall risk, increase confidence, and support aging in place. Programs must be free to participants, culturally and linguistically appropriate, and track participant outcomes and satisfaction using AAA reporting tools. Bidders should propose unit rates (by hours) and estimated clients served; grantees will be required to submit routine program and fiscal reports and participate in monitoring and quality-improvement activities.
