The County of Los Angeles, through this Request for Information (RFI), is interested in receiving information from vendors that provide Benefit Plan Third-Party Administration (BPA) Services for the following plan and benefits: four (4) Cafeteria Benefit Plans; Subsidized Medical Benefits for eligible part-time employees; a Direct Pay plan for employees with no-pay status and unpaid leave; Health Care and Dependent Care Spending Accounts; and a Commuter Benefit Plan. These BPA Services include customer service through live call centers, email chatbots, and live chat. The vendor responding to this RFI should provide all other BPA services, including, but not limited to: 1) cloud-based internet-driven systems and applications; 2) management of carrier file relationships, in-house or subcontracted flexible spending account and commuter vendors, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance; 3) verification of dependent and life event documentation; and 4) support for any paperless (i.e., go-green) initiative the County may offer to its employees.
