Description
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the investigation, design, tendering support, and contract administration for the replacement of the Livingstone Ave culvert in fish bearing water courses located nearby 30981 Livingstone Ave, as further described in the RFP document.
The culvert is to be replaced with a culvert through either open cut or trenchless technology to avoid the potential of collapse. The culvert is under water. One end of the culvert is rotted, and the condition of the rest of the section is unknown. Capacity analysis is required to determine the size of the proposed culvert.
Construction of the culvert may require removal of vegetation. The Consultant will provide an arborist’s assessment and prepare a Construction Environmental Management Plan that will be included as part of the tender documents.
During construction contract administration, site inspections and environmental monitoring are required.
