Description

The contract is for the the SBIR procurement, delivery and initial training requirements for the ChipCheck Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) unit for the US Air Force. ChipCHECK CC121 is a field deployable general-purpose analytical wear debris analysis tool used for the magnetic chip detector analysis of chips from F100, F110 and F118-101 (U2) engines. The ChipCHECK brings a laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technology, which will enhance chip detection and will replace SEM-EDX units.
