Notice is hereby given that Tooele City Corporation (OWNER) will accept bids for the Peterson Industrial
Depot - Water Infrastructure Pothole Location Project according to Drawings and Specifications
prepared by Paul Hansen Associates, and described in general as:
Work of this Construction Contract comprises the pothole and positive identification of existing
pavement thickness and conditions, and for the identification of pipeline size, type, condition
and depth at approximately 20 "Cross" pipe line locations, 25 "Tee" pothole locations and 3
single pipeline locations.
Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices
located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until 1:30 PM on Wednesday September 9, 2026, and
then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic Bid submittals will not be accepted.
Project Bid Documents will be issued in digital format (PDF), and may be obtained by contacting Tooele
City Public Works Department, Room 101, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on Tuesday
August 25, 2026 during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (435) 843-2130, or by email
addressed to laurab@tooelecity.gov. All Bidders must receive the bid package directly from the City in
order to be considered for Award of Bid.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference which will be held in the Large
Conference Room located on the 2nd floor of Tooele City Hall, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah at 2:00 PM
on Thursday September 3, 2026. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site
conditions, specifications, and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project.
All communication relative to the Project shall be directed to the Public Works Director prior to the
opening of bids at:

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of
any bid; to award schedules separately or together to contractors, or to waive any informality or
technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed
will be accepted.
