Invitation to Bid 2026-03, City of Newberry SW 254th Street Extension from SW 7th Avenue to SW 10th Avenue

The City of Newberry, Florida ("Owner") is inviting Bidders to electronically submit sealed bids for ITB 2026-13, SW 254th Street Extension from SW 7th Avenue to SW 10th Avenue.

PURPOSE: The services may include, but are not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services, and performing all work necessary to provide the Owner with the construction of a new roadway facility as shown on the Drawings and as specified in this solicitation. All work shall be in accordance with the Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents.

Bids must be submitted by Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 2:00 PM ET

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 10:00 AM ET at the City of Newberry City Hall, Commission Chambers, 25493 NW 1st Avenue, Newberry, Florida 32669. Bidders are encouraged to attend; however, attendance is not required to submit a Bid. Attendees may join by accessing the link below at the stated date and time:

Attendance at the in-person Site visit is encouraged but not mandatory and will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, immediately following the conclusion of the non-mandatory pre-bid conference. Site visit attendees shall meet at the City Hall, Commission Chambers prior to visiting the site.

Questions should be submitted to the Owner through Bid Express only. Questions will be accepted through Tuesday, October 13, 2026, 2:00 PM ET.

Bids will be opened and read aloud at a virtual Public Bid Opening on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 2:00 PM ET All members of the public may attend the Public Bid Opening. Attendees may join by accessing the link below at the stated date and time:

Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing Bids; neither Owner nor Engineer assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents, Bidding Documents or any portion thereof provided by third parties, or for modifications to the Bidding Documents not made by official Addenda, including electronic conversion. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
