Summary

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) on behalf of the City and County of Denver desires to solicit proposals for the professional services of a vendor to administer Climate Action Incentive Programs. CASR anticipates awarding one contract for a three (3) year term. The City reserves the right to issue one or more contract amendments to adjust/extend the term, budget, and services as needed to advance the purpose of this solicitation.

Purpose

CASR is seeking the professional services of a vendor to administer Climate Action Incentive Programs on behalf of CASR. Administration includes documenting program guidelines, vendor registration and oversight, incentive application processing, verification, incentive distribution, customer service, and more in accordance with program guidance provided by CASR, as particularly set forth in the tasks in this solicitation, and as may be modified with written direction from the CASR.

The office’s mission is to act with urgency to proactively mitigate climate change by advancing science-based strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a scale and timeline that align with the recommendations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, cultivate resiliency in the face of potential climate change-related emergencies, secure an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable city for generations to come, and ensure that the setting of goals and metrics and monitoring of results considers equity.

Required Insurance:

The City does not negotiate insurance requirements or contract insurance language and any objections not raised formally in the selection process are waived.

Review the Sample Agreement for the required insurance amounts under paragraph 10 of this RFP, the required insurance coverages are as follows:

  • Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance
  • Commercial General Liability
  • Business Automobile Liability
