Description

The premise of this contract is to arrange for a single alarm monitoring contractor to provide nationwide alarm system monitoring for Statistics Canada’s MECs and Mobile RV, which includes temperature monitoring of the fridges and freezers used to store specimens onsite. The temperature monitoring of two freezers located at the Statistics Canada Head Office in Ottawa, ON must also be provided.

Additionally, the CHMS is currently investing in the implementation of an access control system which includes swipe readers, keypads, door chime and cameras to further solidify the security for CHMS Staff, respondents, and the data in which they collect onsite. The alarm monitoring company will be responsible for the installation of all required equipment for the implementation of access control measures in addition to security cameras. The company must have all the necessary credentials and have the ability to provide nationwide servicing for all equipment monitored under the contract.
