Description

Alberta Arts, Culture, and Status of Women require the services of an experienced aviation maintenance Contractor that is able to provide professional care, maintenance, and preservation of aviation artifacts. The Contractor must also be capable of moving aircraft, and associated artifacts, as required for on or off-site exhibits, as well as be prepared to monitor, consult and report on artifact and storage conditions.

The Contractor will also prepare all aviation artifacts that are currently in storage off-site for consolidation within cold storage or the Collection Storage Facility on the Reynolds Museum main campus. This will need to be finished by the conclusion of the contract duration.

Along with providing care and maintenance to the museum’s aviation collection, the Contractor will also be required to prepare a care and handling manual that shall be used by museum staff for the continuing care of the aviation collection beyond the duration of this contract.

The Contractor will also be required to complete preservation reports on all exterior aircraft, as well as ones being stored off-site of the main museum campus.
