Description
The National Research Council (NRC) Clean Energy Innovation (CEI) has a requirement for one custom built and tested Surface Modification and Deposition System (SMDS) for powdered materials. To create advanced formulations for battery materials that can offer optimized and reliable performance, a specialized system (SMDS) is needed. This system must be capable of modifying material surface properties (etching, functionalization, coating, texturing, roughing) through nonthermal plasma treatment. Additionally, it must be able to fabricate novel coatings through magnetron sputtering to enhance the performance of powder materials.
The estimated contract period will be 11 month(s).
