5753 - Rental of Synthetic Ice-Skating Rink for City Event

The City of New Rochelle is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide and install a synthetic ice-skating rink, and assorted supplies, for the City’s second annual Mid-Winter Recess Event occurring at Lincoln Park in New Rochelle, NY. The rink will be installed on the Lincoln Park Basketball Courts.

The event will begin atnoon on Saturday February 15, 2025 and conclude at 6 p.m. on Saturday February 22, 2025. The rink will be open each day from noon to 6 p.m.

The awarded vendor shall be allowed to begin mobilization up to three (3) days prior to event beginning. Demobilization shall be completed no later than 6 p.m. on February 24, 2025.

It is the intent of the City to have this event operate rain or shine; however, in the event of significant inclement weather, the City shall notify the vendor no later then two hours prior to event start time of cancellation. If cancelled, and vendor is notified within the required timeframe, the City shall not be responsible for staffing cost for the day(s) of cancellation.
