The purpose of this Unsealed Request for Proposals (URFP) is to establish a spot purchase contract through competitive negotiations with a qualified firm to provide Internal Audit Assessment Services to the Department of Taxation (Virginia Tax), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Global Internal Audit Standards requires that an external quality assessment be performed at least once every five years by a qualified, independent assessor or assessment team. Virginia Tax is seeking a qualified independent assessor to perform the external quality assessment for Virginia Taxâs Internal Audit function.
