Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to enter a one-time purchase with Integrated DNA Technologies for the purchase of Custom-made oligonucleotides. These reagents are required for the NBS lab’s assay for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). They are the only validated reagents that can be used and they are only available from Integrated DNA Technologies as different reagents would require a new method validation and would not be compatible with both assays which have different requirements.
