Smith Fork's Sanitary Force Main & Little Platte River Water Crossing - Smithville, MO

RFP #26-01 - SMITH FORK’S SANITARY FORCE MAIN IMPROVEMENTS & LITTLE PLATTE RIVER WATER CROSSING

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Smith Fork’s Sanitary Force Main Improvement & Little Platte River Water Crossing, HDR Project Numbers 10254392 & 10357175 will be received, by the City of Smithville, Missouri, at the City Hall at 107 West Main Street, Smithville, MO 64089, until the above time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Construction of approximately 2,800 linear feet of 12-inch PVC potable water main, 2,200 linear feet of 8-inchPVC potable water main, fire hydrants, gate valves, potable service lines, 4,250 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary force main, submersible pump replacement, site restoration, and all associated appurtenances.

INSTRUCTIONS TO PROPOSERS:

1. Proposals must be addressed to Rick Welch, 107 W. Main Street, Smithville, Missouri 64089 and be received before the above time.

2. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee from Drexel Technologies on-line at www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution plan room, additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com . Contractors desiring the contract documents for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies, 10840 West 86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.

3. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.

4. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

THE CITY OF SMITHVILLE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL PROPOSALS.
